Zombie Dragon is a race of Dragon creature in the Darkness Civilization.

Nomenclature

In the TCG, they have "Necrodragon" as a prefix, while evolution creatures have "Super Necrodragon" as a prefix.

In the OCG, they have 黒（こく）神（しん）龍（りゅう） (Kokushinryū, meaning "Black Divine Dragon") in their names while evolution creatures have 超（ちょう）神（しん）龍（りゅう） (Chōshinryū, meaning "Super Divine Dragon") in their names. Multicolored and Multi-raced creatures have 神（しん）滅（めつ） (Shin Metsu, meaning "God-Destroying") in their names.

In Episode 2, their names are consisted of the usual title and two rhyming words (e.g. Senjou Enjou).

In Episode 3, creatures with the Oracle or God Nova race are given the title 真（しん）滅（めつ）, (Shin Metsu, meaning "True Destroying") as it would not make sense for a god follower or a god itself to be "God Destroying". 真滅 is pronounced in the same way as the original 神滅 title.

Story

According to the flavor text of Magmadragon Melgars, Necrodragons slept miles underneath the swampland.

Gameplay

In the TCG, a few cards were incorrectly translated as having the "Dragon Zombie" race. These creatures should be treated as being Zombie Dragons.

Truename Screaming Psycho	■ When you put this creature into the battle zone, reveal the top 3 cards of your deck. From among the revealed cards, add any number of Tristone and Zombie Dragon to your hand. For each card added, your opponent chooses one of his creatures and destroys it. Put the rest of the cards on the bottom of your deck in any order.
Zekkoucho	■ When this creature is destroyed, you may return a Zombie Dragon from your graveyard to your hand.
