Weenie
ウィニー

Weenie is a term for a creature with a low mana cost.

Details

It is sometimes also used as a term for the rush deck types utilizing many of these creatures.

Although the definitions differs slightly from person to person, it is usually used for cards that cost 3 or less.

As a creature of any power can break shields, it can be more efficient to win the game quickly by simply attacking your opponent with any low cost creatures.

However, there are many cards that have the ability to mass remove low cost (and therefore usually low-power) weenies, such as 5000GT, Riot, Bolshack Superhero and Thunder Blade, Wolf Tiger.

As using only-weenie creatures can be risky, many haste decks require some form of finishing move such as Diamond Sword to help decide the game.
