Vavelle was introduced in the Duel Masters Cross season of the Duel Masters anime series.
He is marked as (V) by Zakira and ranked as 5th in the Fua Duelist organization.
Description[]
He wears gold clothing, has white hair and is dark skinned. He has a purple gem on his forehead. He also owns a matching gold mechanical panther robot that he uses for quick transport that he treats as his pet. This panther robot's name is "Lodem", named after the being who serves the protagonist from Babel II .
Due to being born and raised in an area with no limit, he has the ability to see in the dark. This ability is known as the "Dark Eye" (

Duel Masters: Fighting Edge[]
He is one of Zakira's elites and possesses the ability to peek on the top of a player's deck.
Vavelle was dispatched by Zakira to deal with Dr. Root after the professor took advantage of Zakira's inability to physically intervene to rescue all the Duel Masters he captured all over the world. Unfortunately, Root proved to be more of a match to him, and he was defeated by Root's Geki and Metsu.
Duel Masters Cross[]
He has also sworn loyalty to Zakira. A strong passionate duelist mostly acts like Kokujo when it comes to the duel but in other times normally acts very calm and concise, also is strong and flexible can do good jumping tricks and climbing as well . Played its role until Duel Masters Cross then was defeated by George, he lost by falling over a cliff where his golden panther tried to save his life but in doing so got destroyed as it was a machine and also the purple gem got broken of his forehead. He felt as though he got released from something but could not remember after wards as who was the cause of him being controlled. He was told by Boy George not to take revenge against anyone and continue as a duelist and revenge was the cause of everything that happened to him.

- He appears on the Crimson Mega Dragoon and Super Trash Train, Fuuma Devil cards in the DMC-48 Heroes Cross Pack - Zakira set, but he never uses the Darkness civilization.
- His Japanese name, バベル (Babel) is based on the mythological Tower of Babel
, but is "Vavelle" due to the need for an initial of 'V'. - He has the same voice actor as Ze-ro and Zero Jr.
- Despite only having one notable duel in the manga, Vavelle's popularity leads to him having more appearances/duels in the anime (including having his own backstory that didn't exist in the manga), and this is also shown with the fact he had as much Heroes Card with other Fua Duelists members with bigger roles.
