Q. What is 'Mechraid'?
- A. It is an ability that allows you to look at the top 3 cards of your deck and use a card that has the specified race that costs the same as or less than a specified cost from among for no cost. for example, with 'Armored Mechraid 8' you can use a 'Armored' race card that costs 8 or less. ^source

Q. Can I cast the spell side of Bolshack Dragon / Duelist Charger with the 'Armored Mechraid 8' of Bolshack Raider, Assault Dragon / Raid Entry?
- A. No, you can't. 'Bolshack Dragon' on the creature side has an Armored race, but 'Duelist Charger' on the spell side has no race, and can't be used with Mechraid. ^source

Q. How do you Mechraid while your opponent has Magatsukaze, Toberutsubasa in the battle zone?
- A. You reveal the top card of your deck, and can use it if it matches the conditions. If it doesn't, or you choose not to use it, put it on the bottom of your deck. ^source

Q. If have more cards in my mana zone than in my opponent's mana zone, and my opponent has Gaiahazard, Nature's Four Gentlemen in the battle zone. When my Bolshack Mornark s destroyed, can I put Bolshack Strike Lupia from my hand instead?
- A. Yes, you can put it into the battle zone. Replacement effects don't chain. Bolshack Mornark's replacement effect replaces the 'destroy' with putting a creature into the battle zone from your hand so can't chain with the replacement effect of Gaiahazard, Nature's Four Gentlemen. ^source

101.5. A replacement effect may only be applied once for the same event. If an event has already been replaced, it can't be replaced further.
- 101.5a When a replacement effect would change part of the sentence that has punctuation marks, the replacement effect is limited before that punctuation mark. The sentence will not be replaced anymore. Even within the same ability, if the sentence is separated by another condition such as "If you do," it is regarded as another event and that part isn't treated as being replaced. The original effect is treated as one effect including the replaced part.
- 101.5b When multiple replacement effects exist at the same time, similar to normal effect resolving, the active player's effect is given priority. When the same player has multiple replacement effects, they chooses which to apply. Q. During my turn, if my opponent has Senno, Brainwash in the battle zone and my Bolshack Mornark is destroyed, can I put Bolshack Strike Lupia from my hand instead?
- A. No, it can't be put into the battle zone. The replacement effect can't be used if the replacement event can't be performed. As a creature can't be put into the battle zone except by summoning, it can't be put. ^source

Q. When my opponent has Stratobag, Dimension Type Infinite Storage in the battle zone and my Bolshack Strike Lupia is destroyed, the effect of Stratobag will trigger and would put Bolshack Strike Lupia into the mana zone. Does the "When this creature is destroyed" effect trigger?
- A. No, it doesn't. Cards that are put into the mana zone instead of being put into the graveyard are not destroyed. ^source

Q. I choose one of my opponent's evolution creatures that costs 3 or less with the "when you put" ability of Zack Cannon Pichi. What happens to the evolution sources?
- A. Along with the chosen evolution creature, the evolution sources are also put into the graveyard. If you choose an evolution creature with the effect of "Choose an element and destroy it.", the evolution source will be put into the graveyard at the same time, just like when you use the effect of "Choose a creature and destroy it.". ^source

316.3. Effects that choose elements aren't effects that specify 'cards'. So if you choose an element that consists of multiple cards, all the cards that make up that element will be affected.
Example: If you choose an evolution creature with the effect 'Choose an element and destroy it.', the evolution source cards will also be put into a graveyard, just like when you choose it with the effect 'destroy a creature'.

200.3a Cards that are underneath a card due to evolution, etc have their characteristics ignored during gameplay. However, when 'cards' are specified, the characteristics are referenced. When specifying other things than 'cards' (such as 'creature'), these characteristics aren't referenced.
Example: A water creature that is evolved over a light and water creature is only treated as a water creature, and its power and race are unaffected by the underneath cards. However, a card such as 'Team Tech's Wave Go!' can affect the cards underneath them if they match the conditions.
Example: 'Bangetsu 卍 Ga・Ryuzark 卍' refers to Magic Tools as a race, so cards underneath '卍 De Szark 卍' can't be referenced.

- A. Yes, Aura, Weapons and Cross Gear are elements, so you can choose to destroy them if they cost 3 or less. In addition, only the chosen element is destroyed, so a creature that had an aura, a creature that had a crossed crossed cross gear or a creature that had an equipped weapon won't be destroyed and will stay in the battle zone. ^source

- A. No, it can't be chosen and can't be destroyed. 2 linked creatures are treated as one creature with the combined characteristics. Therefore you can't choose only one of them with an effect that chooses a creature or element. In this example, the linked 'Heavy, Extreme Dragon God' and 'Izumo, Humanity God' are treated as a creature that costs 7. ^source

- A. It will be put into the graveyard along with '卍 Grand Zero 卍'. If you choose a field with the effect of "Choose an element and destroy it.", the cards underneath also go to the graveyard. ^source

Q. When I cast the spell side of Bolshack Raider, Assault Dragon / Raid Entry. Do I add the card to my deck and shuffle before the Mechraid?
- A. Yes, add the card to our deck, shuffle it, then 'Armored Mechraid 8'. ^source

For example, the effect "Choose one of your opponent's elements and destroy it." allows you to choose one one of your opponent's creatures, tamaseeds or fields, etc in the battle zone and destroy it. Cards such as spells that can't be put into the battle aren't treated as elements.^source
