Ultra Golden Card is a rarity in the Duel Masters trading card game.

Details[]

It is a Foil Card that first appeared in DMEX-01 Duel Masters: Golden Best, and is sometimes abbreviated as 'UGC'.

The card illustration has a golden foil specialization and is characterized by golden decoration in the artwork and card frame.

In DMEX-03 Peri!!! Specialness Overloaded Mystery Pack, all cards were reprinted cards.

Many of these cards have been used in the metagame, so generally have (or had) a high value at the time of their release.

The encapsulation rate for DMEX-01 is 2 in a box, while its 1 in a box for sets DMRP-05 Gokai!! Joragon Go Fight!! and later.

With the exception of DMEX-03, the card's don't have a Set Icon and can't be used in Block Constructed.

No cards in the Premium Hall of Fame have been reprinted as an Ultra Golden Card. However, Rafululu, Sound Faerie and Heaven's Force were later put into the Premium Hall of Fame.

Each card in DMRP-05 was a "dragon that remains in history".
After DMRP-08, it became possible to create a deck that was able to created with only Ultra Golden Cards.
- This involves a 5-civilization deck that uses Mana Acceleration and using high-cost Dragon creatures as finishers .
