Ultra Buddara was introduced in the Versus Revolution season of the Duel Masters anime.
He was one of the residents and owner of the hot springs in the underground city of Duel Masters Land.

A fat and grosteque looking man. He seems kind, but when angered three times he becomes violent.

Duel Masters Versus Revolution[]
He first appears on the hot spring he owns to greet his customers. When he mention his name, Katta Kirifuda misheard it as Bhutan, causing him to become mad and reducing his tolerance level to 2 before returning to his cheery self. Before that, he received an order from Hakase to prevent Katta and the group from finding one of the Revolutionary cards.
Due to the antics of Waramaki and Hamukatsu in the girl's section of the hot springs to get the card, his tolerance level went down to 0 and personally deals with Katta in a duel. He lost and made the hot springs self-destruct, with Katta and the group escaping. He was let off by Hakase for his failed attempt and was given an armor.
He dueled Katta again doning an armor but lost again. He later self-destruct the armor to allow Katta to get the sealed Dogiragon, Flaming Revolution.

He uses a Light Civilization deck based by the Invader race.

Trivia[]
- His motto and personality is described as "The face of buddha only appears 3 times". This is a reference to his trump card's destruction substitution effect which can be activated 3 times before it becomes completely invincible.
