Tree Folk is a race of creature in the Nature Civilization.
Story[]
Tree Folk are a quietly powerful, highly intelligent race able to control the minds of others. No resemblance to humanoids, they enjoy long life and grow in wisdom with each passing year.
Except in some cases, they are totally immobile. They communicate empathically, filling the air with their emotions. Under their influence, many animals have happily starved to death, never realizing they will soon be nourishment for the Trees around them.
Gameplay[]
While abundant in the Beginner's Block No new Tree folk were printed past Senia, Orchard Avenger in DM-08, but they returned in DM-27 as Fly Love, Crafty Demonic Tree which is mixed with the Hedrian race. They also later make surprise returns in other sets, but the card power of the new tree folk are pretty weak.
