Titan Trigger is a slang term used by the Duel Masters development team.
Details[]
It refers to a creature that has a Trigger Ability that occurs "when you put" this creature (into the battle zone) or whenever that creature attacks (which is usually just an Attack Trigger).
An example of a creature is Bolshack Momoking NEX.

Fire / Star Evolution Creature Jokers + Armored Dragon + RexStars 9000+ |
■ Star Evolution—Put on one of your RexStars or Fire creatures. (When this creature would leave, the top card leaves instead.) ■ Powered breaker (This creature breaks an additional shield for each 6000 power.) ■ When you put this creature or whenever it attacks, reveal the top card of your deck. If it's a RexStars or fire creature, put that creature. Otherwise, put it into your graveyard. ■ While attacking, this creature gets +2000 power for each fire card in your graveyard. |
It can be effective on evolution creatures and creatures that aren't affected by summoning sickness, as you can trigger the effect twice on the same turn. This was seen on Scramble Change and Mega Manalock Dragon.

Trivia[]
- The name comes from Magic: The Gathering, with a cycle of "Titan" creatures from the Magic 2011 set that have the same trigger ability.
- The first cards with this trigger condition was Super Spell Great Blue, the Blue Tide and Thrust Sumo, Strongest Yokozuna from DMR-03 Gaial Victory.
- The previous Titan creatures from Magic: The Gathering were released was July 16, 2010 with the release date of DMR-03 being December 18. 2011. This is a total of a year and 5 months to reimport these game elements.
- While Primeval Titan from Magic: The Gathering is based on Fighter Dual Fang, the Duel Masters card has no relation to the "Titan Trigger".[1]
