Taorey

Taorey was first introduced in the Duel Masters Cross Shock season of the Duel Masters anime.

Plot

He lives on an island with his son Toy. On the island because to is not having many connection to the outside world the kids did knew how to duel. One day Shori was found on the beach shore by Toy he called Taorey and Taorey looked after Shori. Shori taught everyone on the island about the card game.

Then one day while Toy was dueling with his friend he suddenly was able to summon an Awakening Card and almost hurt his friends. Taorey told Toy not to duel ever again but never told him the truth. Shori talked to Taorey how is having such a power. This power is only with very few people to awaken an awakening card. Shori also told Taorey about his son Shobu that he is having the same power. Taorey finally realized that his son has grown up and now he needs to be prepared before it is too late. He told Shori that his mother had the he is using now after after his birth his mother passed away and left this card for him. Taorey told Shori that he did not knew that he will have such a power and so he gave the card to his son.

Later the next day Zakira who was tracking Shori found Toy and dueled Toy and took the last Awakening card from him. Taorey after the incident promised that he will make him stronger instead of hiding him. And finally they were invited for the finals at World Championship Tournament by Yaesar who also allowed Psychic creatures to be used as well and gave his son the same card that he lost to Zakira; Zero Phoenix, Phoenix of Darkness.
