Tamaseed / Creature is a card type.

Details[]

It is a combination of the Tamaseed and Creature card types that first appeared in DM22-RP1 and DM22-SD1.

In all zones (other than the battle zone), they are treated as having both card types. If a card effect searched for either card type from your deck, or returned cards from your graveyard or mana zone, they could be affected by any card that referred to 'Tamaseed' or 'Creature'.

While in the battle zone, they are treated only as a Tamaseed unless certain conditions are met (having 4 creatures and/or tamaseeds from the same civilization in the battle zone, including itself) and are then treated additionally as a creature for the purposes of attacking and evolving.

Unlike some Tamaseeds that have the Shinkarise ability, they can't evolve while they aren't treated as a creature.

Cards with this card type have the ACE race.

The keyword action for this card type is "summon", due to being a creature.

The design of this card type closely resembles legendary enchantment creatures with the God race from the Theros plane in Magic: The Gathering.
- The requirement conditions of "having a certain number of creatures and/or tamaseeds of the same civilization" to treat the card as a creature in the battle zone is also similar to the Devotion mechanic.
