Suicide is a slang term given to the abilities of your own cards that can be self-detrimental.
Details[]
It is most often used for cards that remove your own shields or creatures, in exchange for a cheaper than usual costing card, and is most commonly seen in the Darkness or Fire civilizations.
For example, a card such as Volcanic Arrows or Bubble Trap can be used to remove your opponent's creatures from the battle zone, but at the loss of putting one of your shields into your graveyard or hand respectively.
Excessive Card Draw or Mana Acceleration can also be seen as a risky tactic as the possibility of a deck out increases.
Many of the Angel Commands in the Episode 2 block of sets that were corrupted and in the Darkness Civilization had "suicide" type-effects. This includes cards such as Codenight Black of Lionel, Codenight Congratulation, Codenight Last Propose and Codenight June Bride.
It is a slang term taken from Magic: The Gathering as a meaning for self-destructive cards and is usually seen as a tactic for advanced users due to the combos involved.
The Kodamanma family of creature is popular for Rush decktypes as Hand Addition, as well as combos with the Strike Back ability.
