Shield Peek is a term for looking at face down shields.

It is usually used in order to avoid breaking a shield that has the Shield Trigger ability.
It is found in the Water Civilization, and the ability is seen in the "Battlemage" cycles in DM-10 Eternal Arms and DM-26 Dragonic Wars of multicolored creatures that have 2 civilizations, a mana cost of 5, and 2000 power.

No Field Advantage is gained by this effect by itself, however it can be combined with cards such as Bluum Erkis, Flare Guardian or Fuuma Danrimos that require knowledge of the shields. It is still a form of Information Advantage however.
- Naturally, it is compatible with the Break Bonus ability.
- Some cards also allow you to look at your own shields, not just your opponents. This works well with Shield Recovery and Shield Change.
- This is related to turning cards Face Up.
- It is included in the broad definition of Peeping. This is seen by cards such as Peeping Charger.
