He was named by the Digaros Karma spell, 2 years after first being mentioned.

Zine, Phantom King

He is the ninth forgotten King, awakened from a long slumber.

He was named by the Zinety Zine spell.

Although he is said to be the ninth king, the relationship with the other 7 kings isn't directly mentioned, only being mentioned by Demon's Ons and Gawelost Mind that refer to a "Ninth King" (九王).

Background Story

Their existence is mostly only hinted at in individual flavor texts.

In the Twinpact Series, when 卍 De Szark 卍 descends, a roundtable meeting is held to welcome it, which had not occurred since the death of Digaro. However, just as all seven kings gather, they are annihilated by the magic phoenix flames of 卍 Ga Ryuzark 卍. It is suggested that only the soul of the "Lord of Darkness" remains, lingering in the shattered roundtable.

At the end of the Gacharange Series, the forgotten ninth king, Zine, Phantom King, awakens. Meanwhile, the roundtable, having served as the catalyst for the Ceremony of Zeron, is destroyed.

At the end of the Ten Kings block, the shockwave caused by the rise of Jaouga, Oniga Overlord triggers the curse left behind by Digaro just before his demise, causing the roundtable to begin reconstructing. However, this newly reconstructed roundtable is quickly destroyed in the The Rise of Kings block by Baradeathmetal, Concatenated God Dragon.

In the The Rise of Kings block, the energy of the Original Heart that was unleashed by the clock of Dokindante Twenty Two, Forbidden Time Hybrid King flows into the Seven Kings, bringing them back to life. Along with the resurrection of Digaro and Zine, the Seven Kings successfully link together in a God Link. However, their revival is short-lived, as they are instantly obliterated by the shockwave caused by the revival of Tyrant Black Monarch and the manifestation of the 'Idea Phoenix'.

In the The Rise of Kings MAX, it is revealed that in a parallel world that follows a history similar to the New Era World, known as the "World of the History of Oni", there also exists Nine Kings of Darkness. These Nine Kings from the two worlds combine, resulting in the formation of Eighteen Kings. Furthermore, the name of the final king, whose name was never allowed to be spoken, is unleashed: Zadan, also known as the "Lord of Darkness". This marks the beginning of an arrogant and overwhelming counterattack as Zadan's reign is set to commence.

  • The state of the roundtable being burned, used as a catalyst, and destroyed, and being in a battered and kicked-around state can be said to be in the same position as Fiona Forest.
  • "It is unknown who among the Seven Kings said it, but a proverb has been passed down: 'Do not listen to what the directive insect says'.
