Rikishi was first introduced in the Duel Masters Victory season of the Duel Masters anime.

He is one of the three top members of the Shachihoko Group.

Plot

He faced Dragon Ryu in the quarterfinals of the Duel Carnival tournament and lost. After their boss lost his duel, Rikishi and Shachihoko attempted to break their way into the vault in order to steal the prize card, Prin Prin, the Eternal.

Luckily, Mimi managed to trap them and lock them in the empty vault so they are unable to steal it.

Rikishi and Shachihoko had to duel Duel Hero Yuu and Duel Hero Atsuto. He will face off against Atsu.

He is revealed to have been manipulated by the spirit of Thrust Sumo, Strongest Yokozuna. He has fallen unconscious while Katta duels against Onsen.

His deck focuses on the Psychic Super Creature, Unryu Deis Izu, Great Yokozuna. His deck his based on the theme of Sumo Wrestlers.
