Template:Infobox Keyword Revolution 0 Trigger is a keyword shared each of the 5 civilizations.
Details
It is similar to Shield Trigger in that is cast from your hand after you are attacked, but can only be used when your opponent attacks you when you have no shields, rather than when your shields are put into your hand in any way (such as by Marshall Queen).
As it is cast from your hand, a card with the ability doesn't need to be put into your shield zone by a Shield Addition card such as Emeral. It is vulnerable to card discard however. It is also not negated by the ability of Galamuta, Matchless Fear Lord.
Packing 30 to 36 non-evolution light or fire creatures in a deck will maximize the chance of pulling out a successful Miracle Miradante or Bolshack Dogiragon Trigger respectively.
Since Creature Revolution 0 Triggers are not summoned into the battle zone, they are unaffected by any effects that prevent summoning. However, anything that prevents for no cost or putting creatures during the player's active turn can prevent any Revolution 0 Trigger creature from coming into place.
As all Revolution 0 Trigger creatures so far are Command Dragons, VAN Beethoven, Zenith of "Shura" stops them easily. Spell Revolution 0 Triggers can be prevented by anything that prevents casting, such as Rafululu, Sound Faerie. Unchoosable effects prevent most from doing their work.
Rulings
- You can declare multiple revolution 0 triggers, but if the first one fails to trigger or remove the attacking creature the player loses and cannot use a second one.
- As the reminder text states "When your opponent's creature attacks you and you have no shields", if your last shields are broken by effects such as Death the Lost, Demon Revolution or DG ~The Thing Made By Man~, you cannot use them, as you are required to have 0 shields at the start of the attack.
