Category for Reaper

Reaper is a Name Category of creatures primarily in the Darkness Civilization.

Details[]

Most of the Reaper creatures have an animal skull in their artwork. By the time of their release in DM-32 Evolution Saga, they were irrelevant as a category, but DM-33 Rising Dragon started to give them different abilities for four other Reaper creatures, such as staying in the battle zone when they would leave the battle zone due to an opponent's spell effect (Dark Ikkaku, Reaper Beast), destroy one of your own creatures to destroy one of your opponent's (Deathraios, Cursed Blade Reaper) or drawing a card when they are destroyed (Grave Robber Reaper Man)

Many Reaper cards focus on destroying other creatures, or discarding from the hand.

They are the Darkness equivalent of the Light civilization White Knight category. Both fight against the Origins together.

In the Psychic Shock, the reapers did not resist Zeta's conquest on other civilizations and surrendered.

As of DMD-33 Masters Chronicle Deck 2016: The World's End by the God of Devils the Reapers seem to have aided Ballom Quake, Lord of Demons in conquering the Fiona Woods, thus creating the first Multicolored and even non-darkness Reapers.
