Rare is the fifth highest rarity in the Duel Masters trading card game.
Characteristics
While they are lower in rarity than Very Rares, due to the high number of possible Rares in a set, it can be quite difficult to find the rare one wants. A player may even go through 2 to 3 boxes without finding the Rare he or she wants. Therefore, they are basically the same as Very Rares in terms of packaging rate.
Rare cards tend to be consisted of solid and useful cards, such as Aqua Surfer, Death Hands, Misfortune Emperor, Hyperspatial Guard Hole, DNA Spark, Death Gate, Gate of Hell, Holy, Flash Guardian and much more, as well as extremely powerful cards such as Cursed Totem, Soulswap, and Skeleton Vice. On the other hand, there are useless cards such as Roar of Destruction, Dragon Secret Formation and Bird Stew Party Time!.
