Official Tournament are events organized and ran by Takara Tomy.
Details[]
They are held once a year almost every year with the Official Grand Prix.
These events are run with the "Duel Masters Competition Event Management Rules".
Timeline of Events[]
Around 2011, the areas were organized as Hokkaido, Tohoku A (North), Tohoku B (South), Kanto (3), Chubu (2), Hokuriku, Kansai (2), China, Shikoku, Kyushu A (Kitakyushu), Kyushu B (South) and Okinawa. Japan's Best Battle events were held at the World Hobby Fair.

After 2015, the event system was further changed. The store preliminaries were changed to a block constructed format, as well as the former 12 locations of Japan and China being condensed into 8 regions. Although the number of participants had been adjusted, Okinawa was removed. In the Japan Best Battle event, Metal Cards that were usable for play became a prize.
