Non-Creature Based Removal is a form of Card Based Removal that can only choose Non-Creature Cards.

Face Down cards (eg: Seals) are treated as having no card type and can be removed as non-creature cards. Some of these cards such as Enma Dai King and Endless Frozen Carnival can only target face up cards.

Cards that are ignored by a seal can still be removed, this includes cards such as Black Lotus and FORBIDDEN SUNRISE ~Dawn of Forbidden~.

Psychic Super Creatures have their cells made up of creatures can't be targeted by Non-Creature Based Removal.

• Q: Can you choose a creature evolution source with Akkan Perocket?
  • A: No, you can't choose it, as "Akkan Perocket" refers to a 'non-creature' card. ^{source [2020.2.26]}
• Q: With the "when you put" ability of Metal, Extreme Dragon God, can I choose to put a psychic cell of Gaial Ore Dragon, the Vainglory or dragheart cell of All Over The World, Supreme True Dragon Soul into the graveyard? (See also: Endless Frozen Carnival)
  • A: No, you can't put into the graveyard. As the chosen card is in the battle zone as a creature, it can't be chosen by the ability of "non-creature card". ^{source [2021.10.22]}
• Q: Can I choose the Smapon's Memory under my opponent's Shield Knight (Absolute Star) and destroy it with the "when you put" ability of Akkan Perocket?
  • A: Yes, you may put them into the graveyard. Tamaseeds under evolution creatures are also non-creature cards. ^source
