They have D2— in their card names, with — being a capital letter than represents the Initials fraction.

  • If the Initials is a Light creature based on a Drug theme, then the — is a P.
  • If the Initials is a Light creature based on Jurisdiction, then the — is a J.
  • If the Initials is a Water creature based on Slime, then the — is a S.

Story

They are Initials created by Dokindam X, The Legendary Forbidden to guard the D2 Fields.

Gameplay

They all have effects that happen if the player has a D2 Field in the battle zone. They all have their cost and power with corresponding numbers, with the exception of Doguraeater, D2M2, "V" Masters and Nature Masters. Coincidentally, Kill the Borof, Rebellion of K follows this rule, probably due to being a former Master Initials in the background story.

Master Initials are affected by all cards that affect Initials, but currently there are no cards or evolution creatures that specify Master Initials.
