This deck can no longer be used in the metagame due to Hall of Fame restrictions.

Mad Romanov One-Shot is a combo deck type.

Details

It uses the effect of Mad Romanov, the Wicked God to break all of your opponent's shields and win in an Instant One-Shot Kill combo.

It was commonly abbreviated as "M Romanov" or "M (Mad)".

After early field expansion by small creatures, casting Ghastly Drain and following up with Miraculous Meltdown or Magic Shot - Better Tomorrow to break all of your opponent's shields are two of the main patterns of this deck.

Considering Miraculous Meltdown is in hand then the deck can win the game in at most 4 turns. Since Mad Romanov's average power is 3000, the deck is itself somewhat susceptible to Shinobis. If the deck's beatdown does not succeed then it is quite easily beat-back, often comfortably. Also, if the One-Shot does not work then the mana loss thanks to 'M' is disadvantageous to the player and hence adjustments are also important.

After DM-37 Dark Emperor was released, with the coming of Fuuma Gorgonshack "Blue M Romanov" decks running Water as a draw source also appeared.

With the Premium Hall of Fame changes of March 15, 2012 this deck type was unable to play due to the banning of Mad Romanov. Along with its ban the original Mad Rock Chester god link also suffered from collateral damage and became unplayable too.
