Look is a gameplay term for looking at a card in a usually hidden game zone.

Details

These hidden game zones can include the top of a players deck, your opponents hand, or a shield in either players shield zone.

This term is different from Reveal where the cards are shown to both players.

■ When you put this creature into the battle zone, look at your opponent's hand and choose a card from it. Your opponent discards that card.

4 Dondon Vacuuming Twist
/ Spell
Shield trigger (When this spell is put into your hand from your shield zone, you may cast it immediately for no cost.) ■ Look at the top 5 cards of your deck. Reveal one and put it into your hand, then put the rest on the bottom of your deck in any order. If a fire or nature card was revealed in this way, you may choose a creature in the battle zone and return it to its owner's hand.

Mestapo, the Patroller is used to prevent both players from being able to look at their deck.
