Ken was first introduced in the Duel Masters Victory season of the Duel Masters anime.
Plot
He is Hako's grandfather and an old friend of Katsuzo Kirifuda.
Katsuzo brought Katta and his friends to his house on the mountains for training before the Duel Carnival Tournament.
After the training had finished and they had all left for the tournament, Ken and Hako went with the to the Duel Carnival Tournament to cheer for Katta, Bucchake and Yohdel.
