Jyotaro was introduced in the Duel Masters Victory V season of the Duel Masters anime.
Plot[]
He is a minor duelist who recognizes Katta as the champion of the last major tournament. He attends the same school as Katta and after school had finished for the day, he challenged Katta to a duel with Katta accepting the challenge.
Katta was winning the duel but due to eating too much curry bread he had to abandon the duel in order to run to the bathroom. Since he left the duel before finishing, Jyotaro was declared the victor. After Katta returned he saw Jyotaro losing a duel against Leo and his Codename Orewaleo.
Jyotaro and his friends challenged Katta again the next day in which Jyotaro's friend Kyusaku first went in to play against Leo and lost. Now it will be once again Katta's turn to face Jyotaro.
