Jake was introduced in the Sacred Lands season of the Duel Masters anime series.
Plot[]
He is the twin brother of Jack from the Valley of the Dim. He told Shobu and Rekuta about the Amulet deck case that how strong it is and that it can be used for evil purpose as well and that is exactly what P.L.O.O.P. found out and used that power to destroy this town. He also tricked Shobu and Rekuta by saying that his is trying to save them from Jack and taking them back to the overlook hotel, but in actuality, he took them to the towns mines where the gate to the Darkness Civilization Land is and left Shobu with no choice but to duel him as there was no way out without him telling them. He almost won the duel against Shobu but Jack came and stopped the duel.
He wanted to become a member of P.L.O.O.P. as well. He have also received absolute darkness power from Prince Maurice, the Merciless. Later he dueled Shobu again and he lost. After he lost Shobu's Amulet deck case started glowing it took the absolute darkness power off him and he became back to normal. Later he and his brother both decided to protect the two gates of the creature world and be the new gatekeepers as there was no other gatekeeper before.
