I don't wanna be a Dragon Girl! is a side anime series.

It began streaming on Youtube after October 27, 2023.
The anime features personifications of several Dragon creatures that were featured in going on their school lives while running into trouble with daily life or dealing with other creatures within the school. The dragon girls were once normal human girls, but after a run in with the principal, who is an Arczeos, Heavenly Dragon God in human form, they were all transformed into half-dragons and were tasked to form a student council to investigate the emergence of other creatures that manifested in the real world wrecking havoc since half a year ago. At the same time, they have run-ins with their fellow students, the Aoharu group, who were sponsored by a mysterious entity that was behind the appearance of creatures in the real world, funds their extracurricular activities and seemingly recognizes Arczeos.
A major point between the stories is that whenever they are stressed out or nervous, the creature traits of the dragon girls become more obvious. This often causes trouble for them when trying to integrate into normal life with other human students.
The official abbreviation is ドラゴン娘 (Dragon Musume) or ドラ娘 (Dra Musume).
