Hyperspatial Feed is a slang term given to the abilities that put creatures in the battle zone into their owners' hyperspatial zone.
Details[]
Putting a psychic or dragheart into the hyperspatial zone is practically the same as normal removal (except for the process of triggering zone change abilities), so this form of removal is most effective against creatures from the deck.

Colorless / Spell |
■ Choose one of your opponent's creatures and put it into its owner's hyperspatial zone. Until the start of your next turn, your opponent can't put creatures that cost the same as that creature into the battle zone. |
This was first seen as a concept for any type of creature on the following card from DMEX-12 Super Powerful Strategies!! Draring Pack that allows you to choose a creature regardless of its supertype. When a regular creature is removed in this way, it can't be put into the battle zone by abilities that say "put a psychic creature into the battle zone", so it is basically impossible to return except by the limited methods below, so is among the highest form of removal.
This is a list of cards that can return non-Psychic and non-Dragheart creatures.
Card Name: | Range: | Conditions: |
---|---|---|
Kiryuin Jin, Crimson Rage | Hunters that cost less than the creature that won the battle. | One of your Fire or Nature hunter wins a battle |
Chopping Ruzou, Rude Mincing Gang Leader | Hunter creature. | Psychic Link |
Glenmalt "Head", Dimension Dragon Ruler | Cards that cost 6 or less. | Attack Trigger, Mana Arms: 7 (Fire) |
Psychen Pippi Super Psychen Pippi |
Gaial Kaiser (Gaial Kaiser GS) | When discarded from your hand. |
Comeback Atchaaa!! | Fire creature that costs 7 or less | None (Casting a spell) |
Living Death | Non-psychic and non-dragheart creatures | |
Hyperspatial Pandora Hole | Cost 5 or less | |
Hyperspatial Summon | Itself | Pay its summoning cost. |
Sliver Queen | Creatures other than Itself | |
Royal Family's Secret Treasure | The card chosen by the Come Into Play. | Put Into Graveyard |
Mzalmi=Bugo First, Connected Summit | Element that costs 6 or less | Come Into Play |
Royal Alien ~Father of Passionate Performance~ | Aliens that cost 4 or less | Come Into Play or Put into Hyperspatial trigger |
- If a card type that can't exist in the battle zone is put into the hyperspatial zone, then put into the battle zone with a card such as Glenmalt "Head", Dimension Dragon Ruler, it is put into the graveyard as a State-Based Action.
- If a creature is Hyperspatially Fed while Supername Sherlock or Zorro Star, Karma Archbishop is in the battle zone, they can't be put back into the battle zone even by the above cards.
- As of DMEX-12, if it costs more than 7 and is a non-Hunter card, there is no way to return a non-psychic/dragheart creature into the battle zone. Therefore, if such a creature is removed in this way, they are effectively disabled for the remainder of the current game.
- As of DMEX-12, there is no card other than Dolge Ninpo, Dimension Hiding Jutsu that can put a single creature into the Hyperspatial Zone, but there is a way to put multiple other cards into the hyperspatial zone.
- It is possible to use Wataru, Legendary Savior put out by Ohginga, Strongest Passion. The equipped creature can then win a battle and evolve into Ryujinmaru. After Supername Sherlock is put into the battle zone, any cards underneath Ryujinmaru will also be put into the hyperspatial zone.

Water / Evolution Creature Liquid People 6000 |
■ Evolution—Put on one of your Liquid People. ■ When you put this creature into the battle zone, choose one of your opponent's psychic creatures and return it to his hyperspatial zone. ■ Whenever this creature attacks, return all creatures in the battle zone that have "blocker" to their owners' hands. ■ Double breaker (This creature breaks 2 shields.) |
10 Supername Sherlock |
---|
Light Darkness / Creature Unknown 23000 |
■ (This creature is put into your mana zone tapped.) ■ Quattro breaker ■ When you put this creature into the battle zone, return all psychic creatures and draghearts to their owners' hyperspatial zone. ■ Nobody can put cards from the Hyperspatial Zone into the battle zone. ■ Whenever your opponent would choose a creature in the battle zone, they can't choose this one. (It can still be attacked or blocked.) |
The ability first appeared in 2011 with Crystal Super Paladin. In 2012, Mr. Aqua and Irony Spiral, Blue Divine Dragon were also introduced. 2013 released Pepper, Golden Fighter. 2017 released Supername Sherlock whose ability also applied to Draghearts, not only Psychics.
Psychic Creatures and Dragheart cards will return to the hyperspatial zone regardless of how they are removed from the battle zone, so the form of destruction often doesn't matter. However, some creatures such as Immortal Boost, Crimson Lord are immune to effects that say "Destroy". At the time, Crystal Super Paladin and Setsudan, Awakened Giant existed as an answer to those abilities.
- Bring it to 'em! Psychic was a low cost answer to various psychic creatures instead.
- Glenmalt, Final Dragon Ruler can be used to prevent your Dragheart cards being put into the hyperspatial zone with its substitution effect.
