- You can use Geo Rebirth Universe or Death March, Reaper Puppeteer and put 'Heavy Death Metal' underneath it. You can use a Degenerate card such as Royal Durian or Dragon Pulse Technique - Fortress Destroyer to remove the top card of the evolution creature. If this creature is under it, as it existed in the battle zone already, it isn't treated as being put into the battle zone, and it can stay and attack immediately.
- As Heavy Death Metal, End of the Century is summoned when put into the battle zone through a shield trigger, an effective way of summoning it for less mana is by using Memories of the Planetary Dragon in combination with Marshall Queen. Memories of the Planetary Dragon will make Heavy Death Metal a shield trigger and Marshal Queen will let you summon it. (See Rulings)
