Rulings[]

  • Q:What kind of ability is "Fushigiverse"?
    • A: It is an ability that allows you to summon a creature from the graveyard by putting one of your creatures from the battle zone into the mana zone tapped and paying the specified cost. The cost is paid by subtracting the cost of the creature put in the mana zone from the cost specified in the "Fushigiverse". For example, if you put a cost 3 creature in the mana zone and use the "Fushigiverse" ability of Dakliedrange, you pay 8 mana, including nature. source
  • Q: Fushigiverse is an ability that reduces the cost by putting creatures into the mana zone, but what about civilizations? If I put a mono-nature creature into the mana zone for the Fushigiverse ability of Gigandydanos, Big Tree King, do I only need to pay darkness mana?
    • A: No, only the mana cost you pay is reduced. No matter the creature you put in the mana zone, the number of civilizations you pay does not change. source
  • Q: Can I reduce the Fushigiverse cost of Gransect creatures by 1 with the ability of Lugundodo, First Squad?
    • A: Yes, Fushigiverse is an ability to summon the creature and will be affected by cost reduction/increase. source
  • Q: When I use a Fushigiverse ability and put De Szark, Demon Phoenix or an Evolution Creature into the mana zone, do the cards underneath also go into the mana zone?
    • A: Yes, all cards under the creature are also put into the mana zone tapped. source
  • Q: When I put a Gacharange Creature with 1 or more Orega Auras attached into the mana zone for a Fushigiverse ability, are the Auras also put into the mana zone tapped?
    • A: No, they are put into the mana zone untapped. The Auras follow where the creature is put through their own abilities, not by Fushigiverse, therefore they are not put in tapped. source
  • Q: If a a creature I try to put into the mana zone for a Fushigiverse ability stays in the battle zone by means of Ultra Saver or another method, do I still get to pay the reduced cost?
    • A: Even if the creature chosen for Fushigiverse is not put into the mana zone, the summoning cost will still be reduced. source
  • Q: Can I summon Gigandydanos, Big Tree King with its Fushigiverse ability even if I have Baribari Kedokedo in the battle zone?
    • A: Yes, you can summon Gigandydanos from the graveyard even if you can't put the creature into the mana zone through Fushigiverse. source
