The deck type was empowered by the appearance of new Shinobis in DMBD-02 Chronicle Legacy Deck: Storm Rising!! Dolge's Ninja Art that suddenly appeared in the metagame.

It involves controlling the opponent's offenses with mass removal such as Team Tech's Wave Go! and Spiral Hurricane, Hero Secret Technique and winning the opponent with Jolly the Johnny Joe. If the opponent has creatures that are resistant to removal and thus preventing Johnny from extra winning, Volg Thunder deckouts can be attempted. If the player runs low in shields or has key cards in shields, Change the World, Blue Divine Dragon can be used with Forever Princess, Eternal Ruler to recover the deck and increase shields.
