Duenyanko was introduced in the Versus Revolution season of the Duel Masters anime.
He was one of the secret society members and mascot of Duel Masters Land.
Appearance[]
A monster taking the form of a big fat black cat wearing a traveler outfit. In the manga it is hinted he might be a youkai, while in the anime no such hint is given.
Anime[]
Duel Masters Versus Revolution[]
He appears in the Duel Masters Land, his show and dueling skills taking away the spotlight of Duemouse and pushing him to a lower ranking. As such, he faced Duemouse, who challenged him to regain his place. Duenyanko managed to defeat him and keep his place, but Duemouse's ranking rose after that.
During one of the events, the weather changes to a sudden heavy rain. Realizing what will happen next, he evacuates the visitors of the park as Basara was about to unleash Forbidden's true power in his duel against Lucifer in the white castle.
Later when Duewanko was stealing their spotlight, Duenyanko teamed up with Duemouse to regain their popularity but they ultimately failed.
Duenyanko was last seen at the end of the season with Hakase and Rambo playing in a small park themed after him. Hakase was wondering about Basara's whereabouts.

- His rivalry with Duemouse is a reference to a cat being a mouse's predator.
- Duenyanko's name (デュエにゃんこ) is a reference to its trump card Duenyan Emperor (Duenyan kotei, デュエにゃん皇帝)
