Duel Masters: Haouden Gachi!! Volume 1 is the 1st volume of Duel Masters: Legend Champion VICTORY series of Duel Masters Manga.

The series introduces protagonist Taiga and his friends, members of the Geimu Junior High School Duel Team and chronicles their first major tournament series. Other duel teams introduced are Shishio's crew and some of the Doumei.

Chapter 1: Nazo No Kiyuu Sei Shiyu

Shishio duels Soma Buchiyou in the Kanto Region Junior High School Duel Tournament just before Taiga steps in to defend his friend.

Chapter 2: Ara Ta Na Tsuo Sa

The Doumei, an elite group of seven duelists are vaguely introduced.

Hosted at the Tokyo Dome, the Kanto-Kansai Junior High School Duel Tournament begins with Soma nervously dueling a player from Kuriichiya Junior High School.

In the next match of the tournament, Taiga duels Doumei No. 5, Shinyo-Oh , while the other three members of Doumei look on from afar.

Chapter 3: Sen Sen Fu Koku

Taiga duels Doumei No.1(?) Nini, and Doumei No. ? Rion steps in towards the end with news for (former?) Doumei Taiga. Taiga uses a Fire-Nature-based Alien deck against Nini's Fire-based Hunter deck.

On the volume's promotional card insert packaging, "Duel Masters" is misspelled as "Dule Masters."
