Draw Source refers to the ability of a card that can draw cards.
Details[]
Examples of this ability include Cyber Brain or Aqua Hulcus. If the card is a spell, it is sometimes called a Draw Spell. Cards that stay in the battle zone (sometimes as a System Creature) with a repeatable draw effect are known as Draw Engines.

With the exception of rush decks, most deck types require a form of Hand Addition to function well.
- While not strictly a draw source as it doesn't use the word "draw", cards such as Cebu Aquman Jr. or Aquan Jr.'s Delivery are useful as Hand Addition, and are often treated as draw sources along cards like Energy Stream. However, as they "put" cards into your hand rather than "draw", they don't trigger the effects of Benijishi Spider or Gigavrand.
- In the case of cards where the number of cards in your hand doesn't change, it may be considered as Hand Change.
- Most draw sources are from the Water Civilization, as drawing cards is a large part of the identity of the civilization.
- Draw sources in the Nature Civilization such as Hustle Castle or Shaman Totem are creature based.
