Dr. Robo Root was introduced in the Duel Masters Cross season of the Duel Masters anime.
Plot[]
These were made by Thoth while Dr. Root was on the run. They were used as the counterparts in order to divert Shobu, Mimi, George, Rekuta, Ryoga and Rupetto. Rupetto helped Shobu and friends in figuring out that none of them is the real Dr. Root. Then they all challenged Shobu and his friends but everyone told Shobu to go after Dr. Root and they will deal with these robots.
They all dueled against Mimi, George and Ryoga and lost against them. They all were Kaijudo duelist same like Dr. Root and they used similar decks as Dr. Root older decks but their decks were tweaked up by Thoth because of which everyone had a bit of a hard time defeating these robots.
