Designer's Combo is a term used for a combo of cards designed by the creator with the intention of using them together.
Details
They can appear in various products, including booster packs and Theme Decks.
They are often strongly featured in CoroCoro Comic promotional cards, some referring to a specific Card Name, such as Dragon Gear - Zangeki Mach Armor referring to Bolmeteus Musha Dragon. While it can be used with any deck related to Cross Gear, Armored Dragons and/or Samurai, it can be crossed to it for no cost.
They can be distinguished in the following ways;
- Race Support — Survivor, Samurai, etc.
- Shared ability — Survivor, Wave Striker
- Card Name / Name Category — Bolmeteus Musha Dragon, White Knights, etc.
Many cards in the Super Deck or Masters Chronicle Deck series are seen as "Designer's Combo" cards.
