Dead Card

Dead Card refers to the cards in your hand, Shields or battle zone that are in state of uselessness under certain situations.

Examples include:

Depending on the situation, even powerful metagame cards can become useless based on the deck you are playing against. Some cards such as draw spells will often always prove useful, but even powerful abilities such as Mana Acceleration can be useless with too much of it.
