Darkness Fire Dogiragon Buster
赤黒ドギラゴン剣 (Akaguro dogiragon ken)
DM-Wiki: Article
Darkness Fire Dogiragon Buster is a beatdown deck type.

While Dogiragon Buster 3 turn kill was a speedy deck, it unfortunately didn't fare that well due to color accidents. However, with Evil Heat, Screaming Demon Dragon the trump card Dogiragon Buster, Blue Leader had better synergy and thus a Darkness Fire version of the deck arose which quickly reached the top of the meta.

It is a very powerful deck type in the Revolution Final metagame and can easily plow through entire unprepared decks in one go. Mega Manalock Dragon can be spammed using Scramble Change then Revolution Changing into Dogiragon Buster, Blue Leader ensures comeback impossible, especially by multicolored decks. The entire deck uses only Revolution 0 Triggers (Bolshack Dogiragon and Iron Fist of Revolution) for defense in order to ensure most of the slots are for rushing the opponent. Macallan, Explosive Flame Shooter and Mega Magma Dragon deals with cost trample meta which is otherwise very difficult to deal against using this deck. Dokindam X, The Legendary Forbidden provides an emergency defense option via Bolshack Dogiragon.

However, it is very easily countered using Giovanni Squall which simply stalls it to death.

Due to Evil Heat's restriction, this deck type has become harder to use since it now relies to hyperspatial spells into Gaial Kaiser, the Victorious or Ryusei the Earth for bringing out Dogiragon Buster. Due to Mega Manalock Dragon's restriction, it has also crippled the extreme offensive powers of this deck and it phased out of the meta.

How to use

Boost mana or stall until you can can cast a hyperspatial spell for Gaial Kaiser, the Victorious or summon Evil Heat, Screaming Demon Dragon, then bring out Dogiragon Buster, Blue Leader whose effect will bring out a Victorious Apache Urara and spam more psychic creatures while aiming for the win.

Post-Revolution Final

After the restriction of Evil Heat, Screaming Demon Dragon and Mega Manalock Dragon, the deck has became less viable, although still feasible. However, Onikamas, Strange Flow will destroy decks without Mega Magma Dragon.

It should be noted that the player will lose instantly if a Jolly the Johnny and Nothing Zero, Secret Destruction combo is used if the player has no shield triggers to stop Jolly's Alternate Win. Although this is a rare occurrence, it can still happen so watch out.

With the restriction of Victorious Apache Urara, the deck has been seemingly weakened once more, however it can use Retisha, Guide of Victory as repair.
