Psychic Shock is the 36th booster pack in the OCG.

Details

This set introduces the Psychic Creature card type and a new zone associated to them, the Hyperspatial Zone. These creatures are put into the hyperspatial zone at the start of the game instead of the deck, and can only be put into the battle zone by various spells or abilities.

Psychic Creatures also feature both the Awaken ability, that allow them to flip over to their stronger side, and a Release ability to flip back over to their original side and stay in the battle zone.

Each civilization has different Soul watermarks, with an associated keyword.

Keywords

This set introduces the following keywords;

Holy Field (If your opponent doesn't have more shields than you, this creature has its Holyfield ability.)
Chain (When you put this creature into the battle zone, look at the top card of your deck. If that card is a creature that costs less than this creature, you may put it into the battle zone. If you don't, return it to the top of your deck.)
Chain Cascade (When you put this creature into the battle zone, look at the top 2 cards of your deck. If any of those cards are creatures that costs less than this creature, you may put them into the battle zone. Put the rest of the cards on top of your deck in any order.)
