Command Dragons is a Race Category of creatures from each of the five monocolored civilizations that are both Commands and Dragons.

They made their first appearance in DMX-01 King of Duel Road: Strong 7 with Red Command Dragon and Rainbow Command Dragon for the Fire Civilization and multicolored cards.
DMR-02 Dark Side introduced Blue Command Dragon for the Water Civilization.
DMX-04 Full Foil Pack: Revival Hero - The Hunter and DMX-05 Full Foil Pack: Revival Hero - The Alien introduced the races of White Command Dragon and Black Command Dragon.
Later on, DMD-07 Transform Deck Set DX Oni Dragon gave Green Command Dragon.
The Dragon Saga block heavily featured a cycle of Command Dragon races. These races include:
- Angel Command Dragon
- Crystal Command Dragon
- Demon Command Dragon
- Mega Command Dragon
- Jurassic Command Dragon
- They were also later paired with the "Team" races as well as Revolutionary during the Revolution and Revolution Final blocks. Gaial Command Dragon was also introduced, but wasn't paired with them.

- While Command Dragon is a generic term, it isn't a singular race and can't be chosen for Choose a race effects such as Petrova, Channeler of Suns or Surprise Illusion.
