This line of text first appeared in DM-09 on a cycle of cards with a Tap Ability, a cycle of spells as well as Petrova, Channeler of Suns.

It also includes the Commune Spell cycle in DM-19 Spectacle Nova.

■ Whenever your opponent would choose a creature in the battle zone, he can't choose this one. (It can still be attacked and blocked.)

Choose a race. Destroy any number of your creatures that have that race. Then destroy a number of your opponent's creatures equal to or less than number of your creatures destroyed this way.

Petrova, Channeler of Suns Creature ■ When you put this creature into the battle zone, choose a race other than Mecha Del Sol. Each creature of that race gets +4000 power.
Tra Rion, Penumbra Guardian Creature ■ Instead of having this creature attack, you may tap it to use its ability.
Choose a race. At the end of this turn, untap all creatures of that race in the battle zone.
Unified Resistance Spell Choose a race. Until the start of your next turn, each of your creatures in the battle zone of that race gets "Blocker (Whenever an opponent's creature attacks, you may tap this creature to stop the attack. Then the 2 creatures battle)."
Solar Commune Spell Choose a race. For each of your creatures in the battle zone that have that race, you may choose one of your opponent's creatures in the battle zone and tap it.

Water

Hokira Creature ■ Instead of having this creature attack, you may tap it to use its ability.
Choose a race. Whenever one of your creatures of that race would be destroyed this turn, return it to your hand instead.
Impossible Tunnel Spell Choose a race. Creatures of that race can't be blocked this turn.
Hydro Commune Spell Choose a race. Return any number of your creatures in the battle zone that have that race to your hand. Then return a number of your opponent's creatures in the battle zone equal to or less than the number of creatures you returned to your hand to their owners' hand.

Darkness

Venom Worm Creature ■ Instead of having this creature attack, you may tap it to use its ability.
Choose a race. Each creature of that race gets "slayer" until the end of the turn. (Whenever a creature that has "slayer" battles, destroy the other creature after the battle.)
Zombie Carnival Spell Choose a race. Return up to 3 creatures of that race from your graveyard to your hand.
Trap Commune Spell Choose a race. Destroy any number of your creatures that have that race. Then destroy a number of your opponent's creatures equal to or less than number of your creatures destroyed this way.

Fire

Gigio's Hammer Creature ■ Instead of having this creature attack, you may tap it to use its ability.
Choose a race. Each creature of that race attacks this turn if able and gets "power attacker +4000" until the end of the turn. (While attacking, a creature that has "power attacker +4000" gets +4000 power.)
Relentless Blitz Spell Choose a race. This turn, each creature of that race can attack untapped creatures and can't be blocked while attacking a creature.
Crimson Commune Spell Choose a race. For each of your creatures in the battle zone that have that race, you may destroy one of your opponent's creatures that has "blocker".

Nature

Support Card: Card Type: Card Effect:
Silvermoon Trailblazer Creature ■ Instead of having this creature attack, you may tap it to use its ability.
Choose a race. Creatures of that race can't be blocked by creatures that have power 3000 or less this turn.
Dance of the Sproutlings Spell Choose a race. You may put any number of creatures of that race from your hand into your mana zone.
Tribal Commune Spell Choose a race. Each of your creatures in the battle zone that have that race get +4000 power, and can't be blocked by creatures that have power 5000 or less until the end of the turn.
Surprise Illusion Spell Choose a race of creature. Each of your creatures in the battle zone have that creature's race until the end of the turn.
Soul Calling Spell Choose a race, then search your deck. Take 3 creatures that have the chosen race that have different names from your deck, and show them to your opponent. Shuffle your deck and put the 3 cards on the top of your deck in any order.
Cart Beetle Creature ■ When you put this creature, choose a race and reveal the top 2 cards of your deck. Put all cards that have that race from among them into your hand and put the rest on the bottom of your deck in any order.
