Changethe Dante is a beatdown deck type.

Details[]

It is based on bringing out Miradante Twelve, Time Pope and Changethe, Dragon Armored Ship / Fourth of the Six Bizarre ~Earth Breaking Waterfall~ to cast spells that cost 5 or less from your hand, while also using "Madness" abilities.

It mainly exists in the Light Water Nature and Water Nature civilizations, occasionally with a touch of Darkness cards.

Due to the Hall of Fame update on March 1, 2018, Heaven's Rosia, True Dragon Ruler was restricted, greatly crippling the Rosia Miradantedeck concept. In the DMRP-05 stage, Water Nature Control found defensive opportunities from newer cards in the Light Civilization. Cards such as Memento Guardian Shrine, Prison Court of D, Mixel, Strange Stone / Jamming Chaff and to some degree, Saizoumist, Dolge. With cards like the aforementioned Mixel, Strange Stone / Jamming Chaff in addition to other new cards like Deal, Mechanic / 「Today's Lucky Number!」 and Changethe, Dragon Armored Ship / Fourth of the Six Bizarre ~Earth Breaking Waterfall~, the deck's stability greatly increased. These cards gave the deck the ability to survive rushes, while also having an offensive presence.

Especially Changethe proved to be powerful, opening up opportunities to use Hyperspatial spells. This proved to be a powerful substitution for Heaven's Rosia, True Dragon Ruler. The previous iteration of this deck, Rosia Miradante, focused on Draguners and Blockers but was severely weakened without Heaven's Rosia, True Dragon Ruler which was restricted in the March 2018 Hall of Fame update.

Due to the March 1st, 2019 Hall of Fame update, this deck was severely weakened as Miradante Twelve, Time Pope, a key component, was restricted to 1. Variants of the deck appeared using Donjungle Strong Seven as a way to put Changethe, Dragon Armored Ship / Fourth of the Six Bizarre ~Earth Breaking Waterfall~ into the battle zone and provide utility along with defense.

In the Ten Kings metagame, Dynabolt, Explosive Dragon Emperor and Umakin ☆ Project were implemented to supplement for the loss of Miradante Twelve, Time Pope. Dynabolt, Explosive Dragon Emperor helped support the deck as a finisher and Revolution Change target, also as another way to put Changethe, Dragon Armored Ship / Fourth of the Six Bizarre ~Earth Breaking Waterfall~ into the battle zone from one copy of Dragon's Sign. As the focus shifted away from playing as many Ninja Strikes as before, Umakin ☆ Project was a replacement on these types of strategies to accelerate mana and accumulate resources. With the inclusion of Fire cards, many new targets for Changethe, Dragon Armored Ship / Fourth of the Six Bizarre ~Earth Breaking Waterfall~ opened up such as Hyperspatial Ryusei Hole. Puchohenza, Mia Moja and Miracle Star, Heaven Revolutionary Knight Emperor were implemented as a substitute for Miradante Twelve, Time Pope at times.

How to Play[]

The early turns consists of using mana acceleration and/or Mixel, Strange Stone / Jamming Chaff to reach 6 mana as fast as possible and to prevent the opponent to cost-trample high-costing creatures.

Sarutobi Giant, Dolge provides further mana acceleration, and great defense when used to discard Baiken, Blue Dragon of the Hidden Blade or a spell when Changethe, Dragon Armored Ship / Fourth of the Six Bizarre ~Earth Breaking Waterfall~ is in the battle zone. The spell side of both Changethe and Mixel, Strange Stone / Jamming Chaff provides additional defense.

When your side of the field has enough creatures to finish the opponent, use Miradante to prevent your opponent from summoning and Jamming Chaff to almost completely lock the opponent down, negating all spell casting, and the summoning of creatures that cost 7 or less.
