- This creature has the same effect as Honenbe, Skeletal Guardian, but unfortunately it lacks the Blocker effect in exchange for Slayer. More so, because it costs 1 more than Honenbe, it is harder to have synergy with BloodRayne, Start Dash.
- Coincidentally, it is pretty similar to Ganaru Scream, Shadow of Screaming, the only differences being in Race, Power, and Ganaru Scream mills 1 more card and lacks Slayer.
- This creature's looks resemble those of Uroborof, Dragon Ruler. However, its name "Bochi" references to the fact that it is focused on graveyard strategies.
- Additionally, its title and flavor text allude to the fact that Deathshiraz, Devil Corrupt King has abandoned him. As such, it can be implied that this is its incarnation after the end of Dragon Saga.
- Duel Masters Super Complete Revolution Final has a paragraph saying “You’re alone now, but someday you’ll able to marry!”, showing a relationship with a card in the same pack.
