Blocker Based Removal is a term given to cards that can remove creatures that have the Blocker keyword from the battle zone.

Details

It is primarily featured in the Fire Civilization, but has appeared in the Water and Darkness civilizations in small quantities.

Each card in the Water Civilization is a Bounce card that can only return creatures that have the " Blocker" ability.

Shield trigger (When this spell is put into your hand from your shield zone, you may cast it immediately for no cost.) ■ Destroy one of your opponent's creatures that has "blocker" and power 6000 or less.

While most cards of this type are limited to only destroying creatures that have blocker and can be a form of Opponent Reliance, creatures that have the "blocker" ability are commonly seen in the metagame in control deck types.
