Block if Able is a demerit effect in which a creature is forced to block if able.

They are sometimes also referred to as "Forced Blockers".
Whenever your opponents creature attacks, this creature blocks if able.[]
The first creature released with this ability of having to block was Pierr, Psycho Doll in DM-10.

- If there are multiple creatures that have "blocks if able", the defending player can choose which creature blocks.
- If there is a creature that "can't be blocked" and "blocks if able", the "can't be blocked" takes precedence.
- If a "blocks if able" creature gets "can't block", "can't block" takes precedence.
- Very few cards give "block if able" to your opponent's creatures, and are mostly among the Light, Darkness and Nature civilizations. The ability also has no function if your opponent doesn't use creatures that have the Blocker keyword.
- Among these, Iron Rose, Full Metal gives the Blocker ability to your opponent's creatures as well as forcing them to "block if able".
