バトルゾーン (Batoru Zōn)

The Battle Zone is one of the six main zones in the Duel Masters trading card game.

It is a Public Zone where creatures battle.

It is often placed between your shields and your opponent's shields, and is also referred to as "place" or "board" by players.

Creatures that have been summoned, generated Cross Gear, psychic or dragheart card types, Tamaseeds, expanded fields, and Orega Aura that have been attached to gacharange creatures are all placed here.

As only creatures in the battle zone are able to attack, it is crucial to manage the zone during the game, as well as dealing with any creatures your opponent has played.

Along with the hand and mana zone, it is one of the most important zones.

There is no limit to the number of cards you may have in the battle zone.

  • It was previously sometimes referred to as "field" before the card type was released.
  • As it a shared zone between the players, players shouldn't refer to it as "your battle zone" or "your opponents battle zone" and instead only refer to it as "your creatures [cards] in the battle zone" or "your opponent's creatures [cards] in the battle zone].
    • Some cards such as Apocalypse Day count the creatures in the battle zone, therefore this card counts creatures in the battle zone combined from both players. If there is a shared total of 6 or more, they are all destroyed.
  • Moving a card from the battle zone to another zone is known as Removal. Having more creatures than your opponent is known as Field Advantage.
